The Mercer Island Preschool Association (MIPA), established in 1937, is a private non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to enhancing the lives of children from newborn through kindergarten in Mercer Island and the community at large.

Mom's Holiday Brunch

What a fun and festive Mom’s Holiday Brunch  - thanks to the organizers and thanks also to all of you who brought toys and other donations to benefit MIYFS.  

 Toy Swap

MIPA's annual Toy Swap took place at the Middle School on November 15th.  We were thrilled to see even more items for sale this year than in previous years as well as a great deal of donated items.  What a great community we have!

Halloween

2008's Halloween party went off without a hitch and all the little princesses and superheroes had a great time!

The first annual MIPA Golf Classic took place on September 26th.  It was a fabulous day of golf and laughs, not to mention great weather!

Great MIPA Offer

We are fortunate that the wonderful Mercer Island Country Club has agreed to offer all MIPA members a reduced joining fee to the club.  For swim and fitness, the fee is $1500 to join (usually $3500) or full membership which includes tennis for $3500 (usually $6500!).  You must sign up by May 24th!

Toddlers of Mercer Island (TOMI) Playgroup (ongoing)

Every Tuesday 10–11:30 am at the VFW Hall (1836 72nd Ave SE, Mercer Island, WA)

We provide fun activities for the little ones, while the moms, dads, and caregivers can sip coffee/tea (provided) and chat. Any age child is welcome as the goal of toddler time is for the grown ups to have a relaxing, informal coffee while the kids are entertained.  Babies are welcome so if you want to get out of the house and meet new people, bring your little one along!

Indoor Playground at Mercerview Community Center (ongoing)
The Indoor playground at the Community Center offers a warm environment for toddlers and preschoolers with their parents or caregivers. Mercerview Community Center . This program is supported generously by MIPA. The schedule is:

Tuesdays -- 2:30-5:30 pm

Thursdays -- 9:30 am to noon

Fridays -- 2:30 -- 5:00 pm

Sundays -- 11:00 -- 2:00 pm
