Mercer Island Preschool Association (MIPA)     

MIPA is a volunteer-run organization, and as such, needs volunteers to bring our activities and events to life.  Volunteering can be as easy as donating 2 hours of your time to perform a shift at one of our events, or more time if you are able to plan an event or become a member of our board.

Halloween Volunteers Needed!

We need your help to make our Halloween Party spooktacular! If you can volunteer for an hour or two between 8 am – 1 pm, please contact Stephanie Kornblum at kornblumfamily@hotmail.com Volunteering at this event is really easy and very fun!

Toy Swap Volunteers Needed!

Current Openings for 2011-2012

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Preschool Liaison
Organizes 3 all-island preschool directors meetings throughout the year.  Coordinates with the VP of Preschools on topics, communication etc.

Legislative Liaison
 
Pre-K Lakeridge Playgroup/Events
Coordinates and organizes the playgroups and activities for parents with children who will be entering kindergarten at Lakeridge.  These events occurs during the summer before kindergarten and are a wonderful way for kids to get to know others who will be attending their same school in the fall.
 
Pre-K Island Park Playgroup/Events
Coordinates and organizes the playgroups and activities for parents with children who will be entering kindergarten at Island Park. These events occurs during the summer before kindergarten and are a wonderful way for kids to get to know others who will be attending their same school in the fall.
 
Pre-K West Mercer Playgroup/Events
Coordinates and organizes the playgroups and activities for parents with children who will be entering kindergarten at West Mercer. These events occurs during the summer before kindergarten and are a wonderful way for kids to get to know others who will be attending their same school in the fall.
